Just a stone’s throw from Europe, Morocco offers you the thousand colors of a country to discover in all four seasons. From the peaks of the Atlas to the beaches of the Atlantic, from the shores of the Mediterranean to the dunes of the deep South, you’ll find :
A complete change of scenery with virtually no time difference,
A culture and traditions that are still very much alive,
The hospitality, kindness and availability of the Berbers,
A wide and diversified choice of activities: hiking, mountain biking, 4*4, horseback riding, camel riding… etc.
Morocco is located in the extreme north-west of Africa, and is first and foremost a mountainous country: mountains, over 1,000 meters high, occupy almost a quarter of Morocco’s total surface area.
The High Atlas mountain range (the Toubkal rises to 4,167 m) stretches over 700 km in length. It comprises three main ranges: the Western, Central and Eastern.
In the north, the Middle Atlas rises to an altitude of 3,340 m, with beautiful oak and cedar forests, vast pastures and small lakes. The crescent-shaped Rif mountains run along the Mediterranean coast. To the south, the Saghro and Anti-Atlas massifs reach heights of between 2,500 m and 3,300 m.
South of the Anti-Atlas, the Sahara begins.

Morocco is a country you can discover all year round, from the High Atlas to the Sahara. Each season offers a different approach to a different massif.
In autumn and winter, Saharan hikes south of Ouarzazate and Erfoud, as well as the Tafraout region, are a must. Not forgetting the Saghro mountains and the Dadés and Mgoun valleys.
Spring and autumn offer the chance to discover the Siroua, the southern and northern foothills of the High Atlas, as well as the Atlantic shores south of Essaouira and the Valley of the Roses.
Summer is the ideal time to discover the High Atlas and the Atlantic coast south of Essaouira.
