A hike in the heart of Berber country, starting out from the Ourika valley and taking in the magnificent Yagour plateau with its rock engravings, and the wild and beautiful Zat valley with its perched villages and beautiful gorges.

Itinerary
Early morning, departure from Marrakech by minibus for the beautiful Ourika valley. We meet up with our team of muleteers and cook and begin our trek to the village of Imi n'Taddart (1,320 m). Ascent of the Walghane assif, passing through the Iguren village and then over a ridge offering beautiful views of the terraced villages. Afternoon arrival on the Yagour plateau for bivouac (2,200 m). 4h30 walking. 1h30 by road.
Le matin, randonnée sur le magnifique plateau de Yagour célèbre pour ses gravures rupestres, passage auprès de plusieurs bergeries ( Des azibs) et départ en direction du village de Warzazt et le col de Tizit et puis descente au village d’Ikkis. Bivouac à proximité de oued Zat 1 370 m. 5h30 de marche.
Along the Oued Zat valley, passing through villages clinging to the mountainside. Bivouac near Finiguine, close to the wadi at 1535 m. 4-hour walk.
Hike to the village of Taghazzirt, then along the Oued Zat. Bivouac at the foot of Louah mountain, 2,100 m. 4h walking.
Ascent through a small holm oak forest to the Tesit pass at 2,900 m. Beautiful panoramic views over the Sitti Fadma valley and the Tasska n'Zat mountain range, and descent to the Aguenss sheepfolds at 1,600 m.
Descent to Oued Ourika. Lunch and departure for Marrakech.
