This trip is certainly one of Morocco’s most beautiful treks. For lovers of high altitudes and wild environments, this original and complete trek is for them, from the happy valley of the Ait Bougmmez via the summit of the Mgoun, the Tassaoute valley to the Western High Atlas with its highest peak in North Africa: the Toubkal.

Itinerary
Arrival in Marrakech, welcome by your guide and then transfer to your hotel.
Early morning departure by minibus for the Ait Bougmez valley, passing through the town of Azilal and the Tizi n'Oughbar pass, picnic lunch on the way. Arrival in the Ait Bougmez valley, installation in our cottage and then departure for a walk in this beautiful valley. Dinner and night at the cottage. 1 to 2 hours of walking. 5 hours of driving.

Climb to the arid pass of Tizi n’Ait Boulli 2800 m, beautiful view of the Aarous gorges, picnic lunch near a stream before reaching the plateau near the sheepfolds for our bivouac at 2700 m. 5 hours of walking. Elevation gain: + 700 m, - 300 m.
Departure very early in the morning for the ascent of Mgoun, a fairly hard climb especially at the end in the scree, from the summit a beautiful panoramic view is offered to you. You will be able to observe the central High Atlas massif and in clear weather the pre-Saharan massifs, after the summit we follow the ridge with panoramic views on both sides, and then long descent towards the Tarkdite plateau and then join the sources of the Tassaoute. 9 hours of walking. Elevation: + 1450 m, - 1300 m
Crossing the plateau of wandrass and its sheepfolds installed in the rock floods, climb towards the col de Assderm 3200 m and then descent by a beautiful balcony path which dominates the valley of Tassaoute, and then join our bivouac towards the village of tassgraoualt 2200m.
Difference in altitude: + 350 m, - 1000 m
Our hike will be along the green valley of Tassaoute, passing through several beautiful villages: Tassguroualt, Amzri, Ichbaken, Ait Hamza and finally Ait Ali N’Itto, where we sleep in a cottage at 1860 m. Elevation gain: + 150 m, - 400 m
Along a wadi we reach the village of Mgdaz, a magnificent village clinging to the side of the mountain, and then we climb towards the Aourghiz pass 2400 m, to change valley, after the village of Taghourte, we climb towards the shepherds of tawdja n Tferdzine for the bivouac at 2400m, 6h30 of walking. Difference in altitude: + 900 m, - 400 m.
Departure towards the Fedghat pass 2400 m, and then we cross the Tamda pass 2800m, and then descent towards our bivouac next to Tamda lake 2550m, the highest lake in Morocco. 5 hours of walking. Elevation gain: + 550 m, - 300 m
Very early in the morning we begin the ascent of the summit of Anghmar 3608m, an arid and wild summit, after the picnic we descend to our bivouac site at 2000m. 8h to 9h of walking for the ascent, and 4h without the ascent. Elevation gain: + 1050 m, - 1600 m

Departure towards the Tizi N Mhboub pass 2650m, descent towards the Tichka pass and then by a balcony path we reach our bivouac towards the Afra plateau 7h30 of walking. Elevation gain: + 870 m, - 700 m
Early morning departure along the Afra Valley, passing through many beautiful villages, after the Zat wadi we climb towards the Yagour plateau, bivouac on this beautiful plateau at 2100m, 8 hours of walking. Elevation gain: + 870 m, - 700 m
Hiking on the Yagour plateau, passing near several sheepfolds, during the summer period, the inhabitants of the villages of Ourika and the other neighboring valleys of this plateau go up here with their herds of goats, sheep and cows … Descent to the top of the Ourika valley and then climb to our bivouac in Tikhfert at 1700m, 7 hours of walking. Elevation gain: + 700 m, - 700 m
We reach the top of the Ourika Valley, and then from village to village we follow the Ourika wadi to our bivouac site not far from the village of Timichi, 5 hours of walking. Elevation gain: + 500 m, - 350 m
We climb towards the village of Iaabassen and then long climb to reach the pass of the same name at 3160m, beautiful panoramic view of the Atlas Mountains, after descent towards the village of Tchdirte. Dinner and night in a cottage. 6h 30 to 7h of walking.
Difference in altitude: +1400 m, - 1050 m
Departure towards the Tamaterte pass, and then descent towards the village of Tamaterte and then climb towards the village of Aremd, and the village of Sidi Chamharouch and finally the foot of Toubkal at 3100 m
Difference in altitude: +800 m, -950 m
Early in the morning we leave for the ascent of the highest peak in Morocco and North Africa, from the summit a beautiful panoramic view of the massif of the western High Atlas, return to the bivouac at the foot of Toubkal. 6h30 of walking. Elevation: +1170 m, - 1170 m
We climb to the Tizekerte pass 3500m and then long descent to reach the Tamssoulte sheepfolds, picnic lunch and then descent to the village of Imlil via the Mzik pass. 8 hours of walking Elevation gain: +600 m, - 1800 m.
