Trekking with mules. The Toubkal Massif is the highest peak in Morocco. This trek, following ancestral mule trails, takes us to this beautiful granite and sandstone massif, with its sheer moats sheltering villages and fertile valleys.

Itinerary
Early morning departure from Marrakech by minibus, passing through the town of Tahnaoute and then Asni, and after a 1h30 drive we join our mule team towards the village of Imi n'Oughlad at 1350m. Beginning of the hike, we cross the small Imsker pass at 1600m and descend to the village of the same name, then lunch by the Imnane river. In the afternoon, we climb up to reach the Oussertek valley, passing through various villages: Tinoughar, Tidilli. We then set up camp near the village of Gliz 2150m. 5h walking.
Ascent to the Gliz pass at 2350m, then a long descent to the village of Amsakrou. We then climb up the beautiful Imnane valley, lunching in the village of Tinghourine, before passing through the villages of Timguist, Ouanskra and Tachdirte. We set up camp just after this village at 2300m.5h30 walk.
We climb to the Iaabassen pass at 3200m and then descend to the Timichi valley via the village of Ibassen. We set up camp at the top of the valley not far from the village of Agounes 2000m.6h walk.
We cross the Col de tizi n'Outar 3200m in the morning, then descend to the Oukaimeden plateau. Lunch then a short walk to join our minibus for the Oukaimeden ski resort. 5h30 walk. Transfer to Marrakech 1h30 drive.
